Us not having $ to donate or that we should even have to donate is the very issue this exposes. Why are health issues tied to a billionaire’s chance of feeling generous? I’m thankful he donated something, but the fact that everyone is outraged at this and not the system is

Yeah. I agree. The system is the problem for sure. Tax the rich and tax them heavy. I am just saying let them donate when many of us cant right now since the trump administration dont care about us.

I just donated 10 dollars. It's not a lot, but that's about .3% of my net worth. Meaning I donated 6 times as much of my net worth as him. Mark Zuckerberg could give a lot more.pic.twitter.com/zzNFqcjTdw

the whole "this is the percentage of their wealth they are giving" thing is idiotic. Just be happy with the donations and tax them a lot more in the future as well. Ridiculous that people can draw ire by donating large sums.
-
I'm sure if he donated 500 million they will say the same thing. I'm not "defending billionaires" for the others who will read this. Let them voluntarily donate what they want. Our government should help anyway. Tax them more in the future and be grateful they helped.

Most of us are struggling to make rent but I'm proud that capitalism has taught you well that people with more money than you are better people than you. I think you should have emphasized more that they are smarter than us and closer to God though
