Yes. definitely 80 percent of the reason why the Salary is high. If their was an official Smash Circuit with Nintendo funding/promoting , it will cost so much more to have a player on Esports team.

Nah the salaries are high because they can make that much money streaming, so the teams gotta pay them that much to entice them to compete instead. If a top 30 player had Mango stream numbers then they could command a Mango salary.

So many more sponsors will come into the scene if it was a legit circuit. Yes their is plenty of other factors but a Nintendo Smash Circuit will definitely increase salaries. Maybe not the League numbers right away but an increase will come for sure.
