One thing that Sakurai mentioned during his speech at Evo Japan is he wanted to see more characters in the higher placings. Hopefully this means Buffs fir bad characters

Makes sense. But he saw like 15 different characters in top 8 at two tournaments. Both of the Foxes were just exceptionally talented.
