No, they don't. A surprising amount do not.
It really shows to because I seen so many people saying they are done with facebook because of privacy issues while they are also still on Instagram lol

And what happens if people dump both? I bet FB will buy TikTok with the speculative value of crypto-Zuckbucks or something, bam back on the FB wagon.

Facebook owns so much and tbh Googke tracks everything you do too via ads and searches. I'm not as paranoid as others I know.
