I would like more majors/nationals to do more than top 8 on sunday I believe Mr. R is the other top player that talked about this? I think doing at least top 32 and/or top 24/16 on sunday is best. Basically what SSC does Playing from phase 1 of pools to top 8 is super taxing

I agree with this. I think a lot of events who host other fighting games than smash have a hard time with scheduling a large production for anything more than a top 8. They usually have a 2-3 hour window for these games so unless it was a smash centric event ssc, it’d be hard.
^^^ this. Top 32 on sunday is always amazing but scheduling doesnt always let that happen.

I think the only way to do this efficiently at most tournaments with multiple game’s is to start top 32 on side streams before the schedule block for top 8 and then switch to main stage for top 8.
