One piece of criticism for Melee streams at nationals I keep seeing is bracket updating during pools. Is there a tournament that does this well? I'm curious what steps TOs and streamers could take to improve at this. I know it's hard because many tournaments run paper pools.

Google Sheets+ Comms. Stage manager communicates with the Stream Runner, TO also has the Google sheets via phone/tablet/PC and they update it on Smash GG. I find this much quicker then just word of mouth and getting the players to report the matches.
Once I find a new contact at @surface events can run even smoother and have tickers on stream and such from off stream matches from one click.
