On this day in 1918, we lost Ofc. Charles Dewees of the Philadelphia Police Department, who was killed when horses pulling his patrol wagon were spooked, throwing him to the pavement. His life and service will always be appreciated. #PAFOPLineofDuty #SupportLawEnforcement
