I pray for their protection after this game, alongside all their families. This statement made on one of the biggest stages in the world, where he took his chance to support the people of his country, is courageous beyond belief. No doubt dangerous. But he stood up & was counted.

I’ve been directed via DM by a number of Iranian citizens, after I posted this, to urge people to follow direct champions of change in Iran and who may not have the platform above. I’m following him, but please consider showing your support for the bravery of this man too.

“Where are Iran’s leaders?” you ask. Here’s one. They’re risking their lives for freedom. From Kurdistan, to Sistan & Baluchistan, from Azerbaijan to Khuzestan & beyond. Please read captions & hear Milad’s words. One of countless brave souls in Iran. #WomanLifeFreedom #MahsaAmini

It’s late yes. Can’t we say everything is later her murder? Is supporting those speaking out like this on a world stage not good enough? Does it not contribute anything for you? Im genuinely curious to hear your point of view.

Genuine protest, brave men to stand up for their fellow Iranians particularly women suffering and indeed hundreds dying for freedom of speech and expression.
