He seems to forget the the UK had the same say in creating and ratifying rules and laws as every other member state. Since 1999 the UK voted yes to EU proposals 95% of the time.

He's full of hate and rage. This is precisely why so many English people feel he represents them: they see an echo of their own hate and rage under the fake cigar-chomping bonhomie. I'm also guessing his exit wasn't as triumphant as he'd have liked it to be. Too bad Nigel.

I wonder if the scales are falling from the eyes of the world who had a fake idea of traditional Englishness as being polite, fair, rational and so forth. Maybe former colonies could school them in the truth of the English "gentleman".

He's angry because he didn't expect to be thrown off the gravy train by that referendum. He wanted Leave to lose narrowly and spend the rest of his life bleating about how awful the EU is, while milking it for a fat salary and expenses. But he can't admit that.
