This is what privilege looks like. A Parliament laughing, smiling and role playing, over who gets to ruin a nation. A government so removed from the very people, who will suffer at the hands of their policies. Who will never be impacted by their own words or deeds. Unforgivable.

As trends. We remember Patrick. Paddy to his friends and King Patrick of Ballinteer to his multitude of enemies. You’ll always be my Caturday.

  3. On this day in 1976: 10 Protestant textile workers were shot and killed by the IRA in South Armagh. It would become known as the Kingsmill Massacre. The murders were in response to sectarian killings the previous day with 6 Catholics killed by the UVF. Peace is fragile. Remember.

Fun fact of the day: Eavan Boland’s father was Frederick Boland, Irish Ambassador to the United Nations and chaired the General Assembly. How on Earth has it taken me 30 years to find this out? What on Earth have I been doing? I judge myself.

Can any journalist, politician or security detail who is in the vicinity of Trump next time he says how much Rep. Rashida Tlaib dishonoured herself and her family - just blare from speakers his ‘locker room’ talk video? Anytime he opens his mouth just start it. Appreciated.

Trump on Podium: I thought her comments were disgraceful. I think she dishonored herself, and I think she dishonored her family. Me in the Crowd: He’s talking about himself!

On voting a second time in a referendum, I wished to say that when I voted again for Lisbon, I did not feel that anyone was forcing me to vote. Or disrespected my 19 year old voice. A little annoyed at the time wasting. But that’s it. I cast my once. I cast it twice. Done. Over.

I also probably shouldn’t have used his name. Let’s call him Stan and call Lisbon ‘StLisbon’. The St is silent.

Delayed in Lisbon for a night. Every one pretty frustrated. But one of the guys the queue keeps loudly singing the broadway number ‘one night only’ to his partner. Past the 20 min mark, she turned to him: “stop it Dan. No more nights like that. We have a mortgage. Please.” Dead.

Some days it’s about progress and hope. That‘s good. It’s needed. Others? Well..it’s about the Jacob Rees Moggs of the world and those suggesting taking pictures of women ‘of a child bearing age’ as they enter GP clinics. There is so much darkness, but also so much light.

Do not tell me: • it’s just Jacob Rees - Mogg • it’s just a Tory • it’s just someone who discriminates • it’s just what I should expect • it’s just what we should expect This is not acceptable. Under any circumstances. None. He should be fired on the spot. Now.

A brief reminder to interrupt your working day: Brexit is not inevitable. It can be stopped at any time. That is all.

Words that do NOT go together: Police, Standby, Chaos and N. Ireland The headlines are literally being written. This is no longer a prophecy. Whoever has played a role in threatening peace. No matter how small. History will be not be kind to you. We will make sure of it.

Anti choice protestors outside Galway clinics is not surprising. I am urging people to listen to how this is discussed online and off. The conversation will show that yes, we repealed. But we still have a long road ahead in how we speak, trust and respect the women of Ireland. 🇮🇪

Six days ago Jacob states that if Brexit is a success, and the economy flourishes, it’s because of the British people. Yesterday he states that if Brexit fails, and the economy collapses, it’s solely due to the Irish. As the old saying goes. If the imperial slipper fits.

How can he stand there and say “it’s a grim but inescapable fact”. Nothing about this is inescapable. Nothing. Revoke Article 50. Back a People’s Vote. Give a People’s Vote. Listen to the public. Resign. Change your name. Don’t negotiate Brexit. This is very much escapable. 🇪🇺
