Fair-play the H of Lords needs reform but we elected a party for 5 year term not a president.

You're talking about an institution centuries old. The only time England was republic 1649-60 was a disaster.

Problem is that all MP's still need to swear allegiance to the Queen. Abolish the monarchy is my suggestion
