The day he got voted in, I popped a bottle of cheap fizz and toasted to a better future. Today, I’m no longer a member of the Labour Party.

I voted for him on the basis of the '10 pledges' printed on the leadership campaign leaflet, clearly designed to reassure Corbyn supporters like myself that he wouldn't abandon the progressive policies put forward in the election campaigns. Feel disappointed and betrayed.

Not sure putting out a poll asking how starmer is doing is going to keep him from power, despite what the people in OJ’s mentions think

Where's the option for "Worse than I could have possibly imagined and believe me I have a pretty vivid imagination"?

If you currently or previously considered yourself “soft left” do you feel like you’ve been played by the Labour leadership/right of the party?

  11. Here's Keir Starmer's pledge in the leadership campaign to "Put the Green New Deal at the heart of everything we do". That apparently includes "banning Labour delegates from talking about it". British democracy is being trashed by the dishonesty of its politicians.

  12. Labour bans delegates from debating a motion committing the party to the Green New Deal that Keir Starmer promised in his leadership bid to put at the heart of everything he did. Undemocratic, authoritarian, and a massive up yours at younger voters in particular.

Why won't tell the truth about his phone. First he told lawyers he lost it. Then he told lawyers he broke it. Now he's told lawyers he gave it to a family member. What's on that phone?

Your reminder that Raab has never been a “senior lawyer”. He was recently qualified when he entered politics. As Brexit Secretary he thought it unnecessary to read the 35-page Good Friday Agreement. If Justice Secretary is “a match for his legal experience”, god help us.

Excellent interview with the beautifully eloquent on how trans liberation will set us all free. Really looking forward to reading ‘The Transgender Issue’, which I would already have a copy of if my local Queer book shop in Leeds hadn’t sold out 5 mins before I arrived.

The number of Jewish Labour members facing disciplinary action on grounds of antisemitism is clearly deeply disturbing, like this example. Whatever this is, it's not taking on antisemitism.

Some personal news (a divisive phrase, I know!) - couldn’t be more thrilled to be joining such an incredibly talented team, on and off air. Very much looking forward to cracking on with the job.
