Most likely an effect of the light on her skin, if you look closely she doesn't look all that "white" without the light.

You could say that, but her eyes are blue here despite being dark brown in official artwork, and her hair is much lighter

Hair is lighter because of the effects on the light too, I think. If the artist wanted her white, it would be clearer.
