Both spheres are teleonomically bound. But the biosphere seems to be more robust in depth, having demonstrably rebounded from cataclysm many times over the eons, etc. Not sure the technosphere reconstitutes itself as easily.

Oh, I don't know, perhaps because one has existed for four billion years and the other breaks whenever someone doesn't actively maintain every single piece of it. This is, however, a canard. Technology is simply an extended phenotype.
