The grotesque obsequiousness of Woke Capital tells us that we don't yet have capitalism -- i.e. sovereign capital -- but still something else, and therefore invites the question exactly what.

"woke capital" is capitalism. Businesses are just reacting to market forces by taking actions which improve the perceived viability of their brand. "Fuck you, this product is awesome" is in fact what companies are saying right now, just to a different group of consumers (us.)

Because they are afraid of being sued. Almost everyone massively overestimates how much of this is organically driven by consumer demand and how much of it is done to avoid/prevent/mitigate discrimination lawsuits.
