point is, *atheism* is not a movement (afaik), just as hbd is not a movement.

You don’t think there’s a group of people who see themselves as members do the HBD community, valiantly fighting for truth against liberal censorship?

So you’re not particularly concerned about “leftist hereditarians” who are afraid to use proper terms and talk about the facts?pic.twitter.com/MqOP2wAqfR

i don't lose sleep over it, no. i think it's a shame - esp. a shame tho that these folks who refer to themselves as leftist hereditarians are afraid of talking about biological variation in humans, as so many people are, because they'll be pounced upon, called names, lose jobs.

I'm sorry that people feel afraid to discuss stuff. In a world where demagogues stoke a lot of racial animus, it's understandable but unfortunate that there is a lot of fear going around. My point was that there seem to be a group brought together by that shared fear.

there are people out there (like me) who are genuinely interested in human biodiversity or whatever you want to call it. and there are people out there who want to use (usually some of) it to prop up their dislike/hatred of others. and there are all sorts in between.

it’s not a desinterested, purely scientific curiosity. There’s an implicit political claim: different policies for different groups of people. This is the novelty, which is btw essentically linked to how progressive liberals manage difference via “identity politics”

both progressive liberals and HBD defenders agree on: each one needs to occupy its own place in society, chacun à son place. HBD and PL agree on a taxonomy (of the peoples) and an axiology or hierarchical organization (depending on biologic difference, political differences)

both ideologies are brain cancer

HBD isn't an ideology, it's the subtraction of an ideology.

agreed to a certain extent. I think it can be best described as is deficit of brain cells… also the interpretative framework it works on (policies derived from facts) is pretty ideological ain’t it?
