I would joke about also having such an interface, called a keyboard, but then I remembered people like Steven Hawking and thought perhaps the neural interface would actually be useful for them.

The killer app for now is using a brain interface and a keyboard at the same time. Depending on transcranial bitrates it may also end up, for example, being the king of gaming devices.
