Is there any point in the arc of open borders madness at which Christians will repent of evangelical universalism? (If not, it's going to be a mess.)

I recall taking a course on Roman history that made just that point. All the other weird mystery cults of the early Empire had membership requirements. Now they are all gone. Evangelical universalism as a meme is selected for, regardless of how it does gene wise.
