None of their arguments seem to care all that much about the value of cultural continuity, stable labor markets and wage structures, trust levels.... It's all MUH GDP and cheap labor to them, isn't it? With a faux moral veneer.

It's not even as if the "Muh GDP" arguments are remotely plausible. The GDP calamity of losing WASP cultural hegemony overwhelms anything else.
