Fascism is right of Full-Communism and left of Old Liberalism, and everyone -- including the fascists -- knows that. It's the militant middle of the road, aka "the third position". Generational power plays don't change any of this.

Which side is DemSoc closer to? Is it to the Left or Right of Fascism in this scheme? Are contemporary Nordic-Socialist model countries more left or right than now than they were under Hitler? I'm just interested in how you square this- I understand the conceit.

How do you feel about this scheme in which Monarchism & Fascism switch places, making Monarchy the TRUE "radical centrism"-- I'm unsure of it myself, but it's interesting.pic.twitter.com/3NKc1q8LR7

Monarchism has no prescriptive economic policy so mapping it in the middle of is a good way of visualising that But so does fascism tbh

The axes are social and economic freedom so mapping monarchy to the left of something is possible on there. Is it useful though?

Monarchism already sided with the masses against the bourgeoisie in the 19th century. English Tories pushed through all the reforms directed at mass enfranchisement to own the Whigs.
