Is there really a difference between Left and Right Patchwork? (I'd find a Left delivering Patchwork extremely hard to argue with.)

I see patchwork as ultimately neither left or right per se bc it's the ground of possibility of having the left/right political contest at all somewhat the way enlightenment humanism served for classical liberalism and 1st International type leftisms but in post-humanist context

there are at least a few of us around whose "left" politics wouldn't stand coherently on its own terms if it didn't take "of course you're free to leave" as first principle and who embrace the implication

I mean, I have been described as "left" (even though I don't necessarily endorse the left-right spectrum), and I believe the ability to leave social contracts is absolutely vital. Not a fan of authie "Hotel California" leftists.
