to an exploitation model of wealth as opposed to a productivity model of it, and get even that wrong, how to exploit people who don't even work just mug each other on the "street", and too poor to be a source of demand. So they can just exploit their extraterritorial enclaves:/3

exactly like a socialist or bandit (but I repeat myself) government, only difference is the lack of territorial continuity and a thin disguise of being nominally a productive corporation.

OTOH the extraterritorial arcologies are at least safe, the "street" not, so they get all the smart, productive people in happily accepting to be exploited, but protected. This is simply providing good governance, and has nothing to do with Capitalism as such.

Best case, Gibson types kind of understand that good governance of a sovereign territory in the current world can only be provided by corporations. Worst case, they have no idea of economics, and simply project their views about government into business. But this not Capitalism.
