in the end it's a reversal of the attitude that older generations (baby boom / gen x, really) have towards millenials and zoomers, because it turns out that taking any random 'trendy' thing and generalizing a generation with it is really dumb

so "millenials spend all their money on avocado toast" was finally confronted by "baby boom conservatives gutted their nations' long term economies to fill their own pockets and now they're blaming the young for it" and there was much chanting and gnashing of teeth
