I'm sure he'll promptly run off to some left-wing propaganda site as a quick "explainer" where he'll be regaled with how Moldbug's a fascist.

"The Baffler" has a pretty good example of an idiot "journalist" attempting to read Moldbug, understanding none of it, and quickly penning such an article.

Most don't have the time, inclination, or intelligence to engage with complicated political dissertations properly. Vultures writing 1,500 word essays in 7th grade English swoop in and reconfirm everything they already believed. Then claim the Cathedral's a conspiracy theory.

If a person wants to believe communism can work, they will, regardless of ever reading any Marx or anyone who debunked his work since. This is the nature of democracy, even of the representative kind. It's too easy to manipulate people into retaining specific preconceived views.

If you've ever read any of the colorful discussions that alt-righters have had with Land, they suspect NRx is a conspiracy by Jews to destroy the right and help the left install more socialism. You'd have had to see it more or less real-time, because they get banned eventually.

If Alt-Righters thought more socialism was a problem there'd be less to argue with them about.
