    Thank you for remembering, honouring the lives of these women. Your work is hard & heartbreaking but it is valued. On the eve of the decade, I cried for my burning country & for lives & homes & wildlife lost. I also mourn for these families & want this scourge of violence to end.

    She was killed in the dying hours of 2019, the 58th woman to be killed violently in 2019. We keep track of what happens in all these cases. We must keep because if we count, then we know.
