Leon County, previously represented exclusively by Democrats, has tonight elected their first Republican, Moms For Liberty backed Laurie Lawson Cox. We covered the behind-the-scenes election rigging by Democrat @alvastriplin to get us to this point.

In order for Kristin to win at this point, she would need to catch up from 3k vote deficit, there are at most about 30k outstanding votes. Kristin would need to do 55-45 on remaining 30k votes to win, a very unlikely scenario at this point.

It’s certainly possible to have a surprise but numbers have been more homogeneous by voting type (VBM, e day, early) amongst demos and party this cycle, it’s unlikely to change at the margins necessary to change outcome. There are about 25-30k outstanding city votes.

David O’Keefe wins election to County District 4. Christian Caban wins election to County District 2. Nick Maddox wins re-election to County at large. Dailey likely to win re-elect as Mayor There are about 30k outstanding votes, but margins unlikely to change much all around.

More numbers coming in that are not good for Kristin. She is splitting well in the historically black precincts mostly 50-50. She is crushing white interior neighborhoods, some as high as 70%. John doing very well in Republicans suburbs Ox Bottom, Southwood, Summerbrooke at >65%

Last week, Charlie commented on City Commissioner Jeremy Matlow’s post, sharing Manny Diaz’s endorsement of his brother on a status about the DEC’s endorsement, which came after the allegations surfaced. Charlie commented at 1:45 AM.

Since the primary, Charlie Dailey has been attacking those who challenge his brother, usually very late into the night. Like this one, made at 3:11 AM attacking Brian Welch for ‘voting against the Northeast Park’ the same vote as Doak. Charlie was in New Orleans at the time.

As the fallout continues following allegations of threatening and bullying made against Mayor John Dailey, the Mayor’s brother Charlie Dailey takes to Jeremy Matlow’s Facebook page, touting an award John got — yesterday — for being a ‘great person’ and ‘role model'.
Charlie Dailey, the Mayor's brother comments on videos of women detailing intimidation and bullying from his brother, Mayor John Dailey of Tallahassee. On two separate places of different videos, both shared  by City Commissioner Jeremy Matlow, Charlie comments "Yet... this week he gets a medal from the Leon County Democratic Women's Club as a role model!!!!", sharing an image of a paper award with a medal. The award was given yesterday.

Donors and business interests close to the Mayor tried to intervene in the late summer, asking him to pull the attack ads, which were viewed as ineffective. Many blamed his second-place finish on the ads, which were produced by VancoreJones, a local developer lobbying firm.

Mayor John Dailey addressed allegations that he bullied and intimidated women on conservative radio this week, calling them “antics” and saying that they were “making it a difficult environment” for him to "continue to be the Mayor that brings everybody to the table."
