LNP MPs equating abortion clinic protestors with union protests is just plain wrong. Abortion clinic protestors are there to harass client and staff, to intimidate them, to scare them out of accessing/providing health care.

Women in Tasmania are currently having to fly interstate to access surgical abortion, and women in QLD either travel to Brisbane or Sydney, so the idea that abortion is always easy to access is deliberate ignorance.

So far the vote is going down party lines with all ALP MPs who have so far spoken, speaking in support, GRN MPs have also spoken in support. LNP and KAT MPs have all spoken in opposition.

That should be normal. Any doctor have to comply with the Hippocratic Oath: "First, do no harm" So no circumcision for healthy boys. Children should be protected from medical malpractice.
