In South Korea, there is a shortage of accessible transit and supports: this has led the South Korean #disability activist organization Solidarity Against Disability Discrimination (SADD) to host regular protests in the Seoul Metro.

SADD is demanding accessible buses nationwide, fully accessible subways, more funding and improved policies. Unfortunately, though, negotiations have stalled and the government has taken an increasingly hardline stance.
