Social Security checks if many SSDI applicants can do any available jobs, and if so, their application is denied. There’s an awful catch: the list of potential jobs hasn’t been updated in 45 years, so applicants are getting turned down for no good reason.

As the #climate changes, we are having heavier downpours and worse flooding. But FEMA flood maps, which are used for planning and insurance, are out of date and incomplete – leading to unnecessary damage, financial harm, and loss of life.

People with long #Covid are now facing barriers to getting SSDI due to insufficient information and guidelines, combined with an already slow and arduous application process. Government must rectify this problem to protect lives and well-being.
