I’m a Remainer. Always was and always will be, hopefully we can find a way back into the EU. But this laughing at people for a, at worst, poorly explained reasoning is helping nobody. It’s not a stretch to think she probably means Germany has too strong a say in the EU.

I'm not laughing at people. Here is a clear demonstration as to why we must never have a referendum ever again and why the findings of Dunning and Kruger matter. These people have been fired up, empowered and politicised. But they don't even understood it. It's terrifying

We need a society in which every citizen is endowed with analytical abilities and equipped to sift fact from fiction. You can’t ban lies in a democracy but you can arm people to defend themselves against them.

Weird how BBC reporters have only just started challenging people to provide actual, tangible benefits of Brexit now we’ve left, instead of just nodding.

I’ve been watching videos of similar interviews over the past 12 hours or so and I’ve been thinking the same thing. Had people been challenged to explain what they meant by “sovereignty” rather than the media just running vox pops then maybe we wouldn’t be in this mess

I haven't got upset about Brexit once, but watching the last second of this made me well up. It's not because we're out, but because I have to watch so many of my countrymen utterly manipulated and abused by politicians.

TBF it was our foreign-owned press who have run this propaganda campaign for 30 years

…and every time we point out they're a bit dense someone tells us we're not allowed to say that. Bit hard to find anything else to say, honestly.

Those questions from the BBC reporter "Getting your sovereignty back - What does that actually mean in practical terms?" "Which laws?" have come years too late. Don't remember the public being asked those in the numerous Vox-pops shown since the referendum...
