So, I have pretty thick skin when it comes to online harassment, but something has been really bothering me.

This is a platform regularly visited by children. My younger brother and his friends and their friends have access to bigotry and racism from a very young age. This is disgusting. It's because of huge platforms like
@YouTube that children form bigoted opinions "on their own".15 replies 0 retweets 29 likes -

Could you not relate that to bad parenting and bad PARENTAL CENSORSHIP on their children? It isn't youtubes job to pay attention to what your kids consume, it is the parents job.

You need to read more. Not only does YouTube not remove these videos, their algorithms promote them.https://www.thedailybeast.com/how-youtube-pulled-these-men-down-a-vortex-of-far-right-hate …

I do not disagree that YouTube promotes bad content, for the sake of increasing profit. I also agree their algorithm is terrible. I disagree that it is YouTube's job to pay attention to what your children consume. ALSO:

YouTube created a channel for children to watch and then their own algorithms take children to radical videos. That’s not their responsibility?

AGAIN. If we are talking censorship. Then the censorship should fall onto the parents. IF THAT IS the case, which I would not doubt at all Mike. Then Youtube should not be a suitable place for their children to view content. Thats what sesame street is for.

You don’t seem to understand. YouTube Kids is supposed to be online Sesame Street. It’s supposed to be a safe place. If you let your kids use Google you can turn on Safe Search, but YouTube is letting kids go right to white Supremacy from Sesame Street.

Also public parks are supposed to be safe places, but that's where most criminal activity takes place. There are no safe spaces. Youtube can claim their "Kids Channel" is safe, but if it leads you to radical videos.. IT ISNT, therefore DON"T CONSUME IT>>
