Friends, think carefully about how you tag others on Twitter. If someone posts a screenshot of a famous bigot but doesn't tag them, don't tag that racist/sexist/homophobic/transphobic person in your response. They create a cesspool of abuse. Don't bring that with you. 1/pic.twitter.com/MNc4BB7Zf1

Don't tag an Indigenous person or other
#POC into your conversations debating abuse that impacts them. E.g. "What does @ POC think about this," or "@ POC might have something to say about this." Minorities are not on call to solve disputes. This becomes a microaggression. 2/pic.twitter.com/yR4zFk73D83 replies 19 retweets 48 likesShow this thread
Twitter conversations have the same impact as offline conversations in terms of the emotional toll they take. Some people take on big topics, but on their own terms. Sometimes they'll engage directly with bigots or choose not to. Respect people's time & emotional labour. /finpic.twitter.com/Jjf5EVfFWf
