Stay angry #WOC. "The problem is that I keep generating [anger] because the onslaught of racism and sexism I face as an Asian Australian woman, both overt and underhanded displays of it, is endless." http://peril.com.au/topics/red-hot-anger/ … via @perilmag

Anger "mobilises me to keep trying and continue making work that demands equity. Because at the end of the day, the people who will enact change for women of colour is women of colour. We have to be our own champions. We can’t afford not to be angry."

What in that article suggested any kind of discrimination had taken place that had materially affected the author and would indicate a need to fight for equity?

Wow. A White man who doesn't use Twitter with his real name demands
#WoC explain racial & gender discrimination further, even after skimmimg tweets about an article by a WoC covering these very issues. You're following me. I tweet about these issues daily. You'll learn so much!pic.twitter.com/3BlVT12jkD3 replies 0 retweets 20 likes -

It's probably best to engage as an adult so that you have your faculty of reason to enable you to approach a conversation with some good will and without prejudice. The alternative isn't very rewarding in the long run. I asked a question but I don't see any attempt to answer it

Are your White man's feelings of entitlement ouching? This is called White fragility and there is help! Step 1: don't rely on deflection - own the fact that you've been owned on a thread by & about
#WoC Step 2: take responsibility for your own education https://www.amazon.com/White-Fragility-People-About-Racism/dp/0807047414 …1 reply 0 retweets 6 likes -

If you are not interested in engaging then you don't have to. I asked a question. I don't see any meaningful response. I don't know how to help you to address the subject matter as you seem to be having an unrelated conversation.

Whoops. I can see how you're easily confused Gideon Moss! Here's the play by play: you thought you were being clever by pushing your racist & sexist agenda on an article that clearly went over your head. You're now sulking because you realise you're not all that clever after all

I'm really far from sulking. I think you may be making assumptions that go far beyond the information you have.

Speaking of 'going far beyond...' I mean you're pretending to be an authority on something you also demand more information on.

Gideon will absolutely not read an accomplished writer's words, but damnit, he will demand more evidence he will continue to ignore!
