Gender violence - whether it be sexual harassment at work, or intimate partner violence, or assault or rape - are all connected to gender inequality & attitudes about gender. Specifically, men feel entitled to women's attention & availability, irrespective of the impact on women.

Ok so in January you spoke out. Today you responded to a harrowing account of two year's worth of sexual harassment and said, "oh, phew, he was just in love and isn't as bad as someone else that has nothing to do with this case." Words matter. You made excuses. Don't do it again
