YES! The compulsion to talk about themselves comes from the expectation that they *should* be heard. They're used to it. WoC are silenced, reprimanded, pushed out & so the spaces we create go against our lifelong experiences of being denied a platform. They can't give us peace.pic.twitter.com/GfTqGjJnE3
