If you're a White person thinking you are *not* racist but your main reference point on race & racism are White people - I've got news for you - yep, you're racist. WP like other WP to talk about racism b/c they soften impact & anti-racism frames. E.g. complicity in colonialism
Critical race studies aren't meant to make White people feel good and congratulate themselves. These discussions are meant to challenge all of us - esp White people - and make you uncomfortable, to reflect and CHANGE. If not, you're not doing the work to dismantle inequity
