White women: want to stand for gender equality? Use the phrase "White women" when you refer to yourselves. #WOC acknowledge our race position to signify our struggles and power. Being conscious of race you're going to notice how you benefit from White supremacy. Do better.

Agreed, but what about socio-economic background and family’s highest obtained education level? Social class.

What is your point here? Race entrenches class inequality. The poorest groups in all societies are racial minorities - with Indigenous and Black women at the very bottom, even more so when they are transgender or queer. Reflect on why you felt the need to defect my point on race

I was seeking an expansion of your point given your expertise. @SarahEMyhre has since offered her insight on where social status fits in this hierarchy.

You're seriously now deferring to a White woman who made the same point I made - after I made it, & with softened impact? On my thread about about how White women need to confront their Whiteness? Your White fragility absolutely could not have illustrated my point better.

BTW, Sarah is trying to do the right thing here by engaging with my thread without deafult White fragility. Sarah is also a White woman & climate change scientist. She's come to me for advice in the past. I am a #WOC sociologist & expert on race. I am the expert here. Not a WW
