Hmmm. What makes you think careers centre didn't know about STEM careers? They are generalists, and often have good services if not specific to your discipline. Did your lecturers ever invite them to your class to discuss the skills they offer?

I graduated in 2010/2011 so its was post crash there really werent a lot of options. Lots of banks I think and like entry level business careers.

Good for business grads to have this business focus. What about other fields? What a wonderful position the neoliberal university is in -educates scientists & does little to help graduates fashion their careerpaths.
