Given the industry is supposedly pushing for change, Tarana Burke and other #WOC leaders should have received their own invites with prominent roles throughout the lead up and ceremony.

yeah I would have thought that was the point, to fade int o the background and give them teh stage rather than....as an accessory which they unfortunately became
