But there was harm. And it was a foul set of things to do and say. And I am not here for playing nice with rapists or rapist-wannabes. So I poked at his vulnerable spots and laughed at him.

But the most important reason, is that indigenous women are the most likely to be sexually assaulted of all racial groups.

So anytime someone wants to feed off my fear, I grow stronger from theirs. Anytime someone wants to objectify and dehumanize me, I make them the object of my scorn. I do it for myself. And I do it for the rest of us. And I’ll do it, and more, again and again.

And I hope, not because I think so much of myself, just because I want it so badly That by ridiculing disgusting horrible creeps, maybe I can help support healing and empowerment.

I’ve said it before, but it bears adding here: my path in life is to be shock troops. To broaden and smooth the road for others, especially the indigenous youth who are coming after me. This stuff is part of that path.

Dude, this guy just started @-ing me because I responded to something
@kay314159 wrote. I blocked him after which he proceeded to harass me on facebook. He's not much different over there. https://www.facebook.com/banajit.boro1 reply 2 retweets 10 likes -
Aadita - are you okay? Scary this harrasser is following you around. I've reported some of his other tweets to all 3 of you.

I'm alright. I have in the last month got doxxed/harassed by big deal male profs (Jordan P among the main ones), so sort of desensitized to it now. Having said that, a graphic rape threat....that I haven't seen much of. :-/

Oh my gosh, this is awful! Have you been in a position to report these male profs? I'm so sorry this has happened to you.

I mean, they quote tweet you to sicc their followers onto you right? Not much that can be done other than going at the unis.

That's right. If you're able to, CC their university so they see the thread and follow up with a complaint directly to their head of department via email. All universities have a social media code of conduct. Bullying and harassment policies are part of that.

Jordan Peterson has made a career out of harassing and doxxing students and profs he deems are "ideologically corrupted". An open letter signed by hundreds have been sent. We'll see how it goes. He's still making his Patreon cash though.

Ugh, just realised who he is - atrocious misogynis. I hope the open letter is given serious consideration and leads to positive action. I hope things are a bit better now the onslaught has slowed. Take care of yourself.
