Just so it's clear, every day - in all fields - women & femmes report sexual harassment but institutions fail to act. In academia, women & femmes fighting heap of cases poorly managed. Inaction over "superstar" male academics is appalling. Stop waiting for women to go to media

In med school a friend of mine was forcibly kissed by a professor. She reported it and she was shunned. She sued and they tried to kick her out. The professor never got fired. She gave up and graduated without justice. She was just one of many by that professor.
Oh this is infuriating! Happens all too often that women are punished while harassers remain protected. Sends a message to others that they should stay silent, lest their job be threatened.
