Yes, it's me - who flies regularly for months at a time yet *always* randomly selected each trip.

Happens to me too. France and USA are the worst!

Bah! Grrrr. It's the worst because the people doing the racist profiling take such glee. Today as I approached the metal scanner, one White woman security loudly said to the other White woman "Can you help me out?" They were just so happy to wield their White power over me.

Sorry this happens to you. It happens to many of us. I have cut down on travel. Some of my birth family has too.

Curiously, I will add that as a white middle-aged woman, I also ALWAYS get tested. My working hypothesis is that I'm suppose to be the very-visibly-not-an-ethnic-minority counter example.
