2/2 Racist policies remain - eg death in custody protests RIGHT NOW. Also Black LGBTQIA people impacted by marriage & other inequities still

By the way: the pic on the right looks American. Funny how White Australians never acknowledge racist history/ present day in this country.

Has she blocked you for this tweet? I liked a tweet pointing out that person's racism-masked-as-comedy, so she blocked me and other WOC/FP

-
Don't know - we can only hope. Ah White allies... Karen, where would we be without them? (In exactly the same place, fighting alone.

) -
From what people have shared with me, I wouldn't call her an ally
Question her white fragility and she'll quickly reveal the racist within

She needs friends calling her out on her racism, not coddling it or defending it.
-
Yes. But does she have any that are able to confront the harmful 'humour'? Racism-deniers are big contributors to the ongoing problems.
-
More than likely not.
-
Yikes. She sounds frightening and antagonistic, not just ignorant.

She is openly racist, with no obvious attempts to change or to apologise when called out by POC/FP. We all need to stop the denial of racism
-
Examples: tweets she'd make more money if she was a black blogger complaining about racism; jokes about reverse racism in Asian restaurants.

Learning from her mistakes means accepting that they're mistakes. She's roundly ignored WOC educating her.
-
I never even interacted with her. Got blocked for liking tweet that attempted to educate her re her racism. That's not being open to change

She is def not a POC/FP ally. And using US racial discrimination history in her virtue-signalling SSM tweet is so ignorant.
