      museum is massive building made of white stone with large columns and windows. there are multiple steps at the front entrance. the sky is bright blue with a cluster of white clouds
      inside the museum is the Māori Court - an expansive space with various displays and high glass ceilings. people walk across the floor, emphasising the height of the Māori structures (two ornate wooden houses) that are three times the size of an average adult. a large canoe 25 meters long peeks on the right hand side.
      the outside of the exhibition is framed by a dark wooden structure like a house or front door with lit paper screens; on the left in English: "Being Chinese in Aotearoa. a photographic journey." on the right is (what I presume to be) the title repeated in Mandarin. through the window of the entrance display, we can see various framed black and white photographs and glass case displays.
      from the modern design hall, we see a black outfit made from woven materials. it consists of a tall black cap with a gold star in the centre (in the style of a brass band leader) and an one -shouldered wavy dress with a full skirt in the 1950s style worn with petty coats, but knee-length. in the background a long, black woven rectangular mat hangs on the wall. both materials appear shiny, almost like plastic

      I can see why! It's so beautiful and the exhibitions are all majestic. Love that there's education the Treaty throughout the Museum.
