You know what I dislike about academia? That academic journals are inaccessible to non-academics.

Definitely difficult to get academic papers. Applied researchers/ people in policy/ community work etc.

I have adjunct role which gives me access to journals, but others not so lucky. Journal subscriptions did expensive most NGOs can't afford
