It was over a year ago and I know, which is why it upset me so much! It was a throwaway line but had a big effect.
You don't have any specific example because I never made such a claim. In fact you came up & thanked me for my talk afterwards.
Two transgender women, among others, specifically thanked for my discussion of gender diversity & intersectionality.
This is not the first time you've made unfounded accusations on gender equity work. It is most unproductive to make baseless claims.

I meant the baseless. I went about my criticism wrong that time, and I am sorry for it.
As a nonbinary scientist I'm sensitive to language that wouldn't be noticed by binary cis or trans people. I know you do great work!
