The history of Ukrainians is being constantly conquered and forgotten. We didn't even have a country until 1991.

Here in this country my family's history is very short, going back to the 1910s (Italians) and 1950s (Ukrainians)

Many POC have much more of a claim to this country than I ever will (and I mean. Native Americans have us all beat)
