Once you actually know a trans person, you realize there is nothing prurient about them. The are just people.
Hi. Def important to get to know transgender people, but they deserve respectful representation whether we know them individually or not.

No worries! Good to strengthen interpersonal ties, but one-on-one interactions can't address structural inequality like media stereotypes.
