Twitter is designed to discourage informed discussion on diversity & social justice by allowing anon accounts, & normalising hate speech.
-
We all have our own ways of managing online abuse, so no need to @ me. Point is that it's NOT accepable to tolerate online harassment.
-
Abuse should NEVER be part & parcel of educating the public, organising social movements, serving our community, or engaging with others.
-
The argument of an "echo chamber" is only ever made by people from majority groups, whose voices already heard, who are well represented.
-
I've said this many times: I do not accept that harassment is the price for public engagement. Abuse should not be tolerated as the norm.
-
Ok, I have found a new hobby for my commute. Going through your posts and blocking/reporting abusers and assholes.
-
Ja ja! Lots to choose from! Many also resharing my posts & getting their followers to troll me. But if you see it by all means please reportpic.twitter.com/7AO0lWbm05
