@jaypsyd
I can see your replies on thread w "I'm racist but not that racist" dudebro. I can't see his even though I'm @ (don't to either!)

I often have disappearing @'s -- I can see them on my laptop but not my phone, or the other way around.
-
Hmmm - weird & buggy, Twitter! It seems I consistently miss the same @ mentions across both mobile and laptop.
-
Perhaps my tweets are considered "more valuable" by the system and dudebro's aren't? That would make me happy.
-
It might be the case that because we follow each other & engage it shows the content? I can't see his comments at all unless I go to his TL.
-
I read--though don't remember where--that this is how the new algorithm works (in part).
-
Yes, algorithm filters TL feed. But why would it affect convo mid-thread, where I've responded to all parties & I'm still being @ mentioned?
-
I've only noticed it on my threads where there's conflict; b/c others continue arguing but I can only see some ppl's responses.

Last time I looked, there were some incomprehensible-for-me rules about what and when you see stuff now
-
I understand why they dropped the "start with a non-alpha-numeric-character if you want everyone to see the tweet" thing; not very intuitive
-
Yes! It's really hard to start @ reply with someone already in a thread. It's confusing in group message when responding to specific person
-
Yes! This gets me all the time, suddenly I realise I'm tweeting/mentioning-except-now-they-call-it-something-else?! like 20 people at once?!
-
Oh my gosh, yes, so embarassing! If you respond multiple times on a thread, have to untick every person. Hard when live tweeting an event.
-
I do this and then realise I've done it, and then hope no one has blocked me for it :-/

For me, the only thing I can think of is that I've turned on "mute if no verified email" setting, to keep down bot content.
-
I've also muted people without default profile photo & no confirmed email & phone number. Many inconsistencies with recent Twitter changes.
